We recommend a maximum weight capacity of 220lbs.
Our paddle boards have a high volume of 240 liters.
Unlike traditional hardboards or iSUPs, which are typically made with fiberglass and epoxy resins or PVC that can leak harmful chemicals into the water, Easy Eddy paddle boards are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a material specifically developed for whitewater kayaks.
You bet. Easy Eddy paddle boards are built and designed to last a lifetime of paddling adventures, yet are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), the most recycled plastic on the planet. That means when the fun’s over, our paddle boards never have to end up in a landfill like traditional fiberglass hardboards or inflatable boards.
Our paddle boards are made using a rotational molding method that makes the most durable plastic products available and is the same process used for most kayaks and ultra-tough coolers.
Easy Eddy paddle boards are proudly designed, molded, and assembled in the United States of America.
The fin is 11in when deployed and is retractable, which means that it will not break if you glide over a rock or pull your board onto shore to sit on. The fin folds into a pocket, which also makes storage and transportation even easier.
USE & STORAGE
We suggest after each use of the paddle board upon storage is to please remove all three vent plugs. This allows the board to adjust to the pressure changes caused by the temperature.
Improperly stored boards can cause hulls to appear warped. To avoid warping on the bottom of the board - after each use of the paddle board the vent screws must be removed to allow the board to adjust to the pressure changes caused by the temperature.
Easy Eddy paddle boards are versatile, all-around boards. They’re at home on flat to choppy waters and can handle wakeboarding or even light surfing.
Absolutely! Our board’s full coverage deck pad is ideal for yoga lovers, and the hull design offers a stable platform for every pose.
Sure can. We’re the first paddle board able to be checked into any airline for travel by plane. You can also stow your Easy Eddy paddle board on or below boat decks or in most mid- to large-size vehicles.
Our current paddle board does not have a mount for your action camera.
The first generation Easy Eddy paddle board model, which is discontinued, had a .25in–20in threaded insert in the front of the boards that was compatible with most action camera mounts.
Yes, it is! Our paddle boards are equipped with a water-resistant storage hatch perfect for keeping your phone, keys, wallet, clothes, or snacks dry while on the water. It also has a bungee system for items that can take a light splashing.
Some paddlers want the performance of a hardboard but the convenience of an inflatable. Some paddlers live in homes, condos, apartments, and dorms where traditional hardboards are tough to store. Some paddlers want an easier way to transport their boards inside cars or boats, or even the ability to take them on airplanes. And every paddler wants to get on the water faster for less hassle and more fun.
So, why a three-piece paddle board? Because Easy Eddy wants to make SUP accessible and easy for every paddler to enjoy, no matter where the adventure takes them.
Our team of watersport enthusiasts, from novice boarders to paddle-board racers and Olympic kayakers, worked for over three years on multiple prototypes, numerous design revisions, and countless material tests to create a board that combines the performance of hardboards and the convenience of inflatables with none of the drawbacks. We think we’ve done a pretty good job, if we do say so ourselves.
